At Kalahari Fire, we believe one simple truth: life is too short to BBQ with bad wood.
Growing up in South Africa, braai wasn't just about cooking - it was a ritual. It's where stories are told, friendships are built, and time somehow slows down around the fire.
When I moved to Ireland, I quickly realised that while the meat was world-class, the fire… well, it just wasn't the same. And that's the thing - a proper braai starts with proper wood. The heat, the burn time, the flavour - you can't fake it with cheap alternatives.
So Kalahari Fire was born to bring authentic Kameeldoring hardwood to Ireland, giving people the chance to experience BBQ the way it's meant to be done: slow, social, and seriously good.
